Zoagli is a small town of the Eastern Riviera located about 35 km from Genoa between the towns of Rapallo and Chiavari.

Today, the economy of Zoagli is based mainly on tourism despite the presence of traditional silk shops which export precious fabrics worldwide.

Recco is a city on the Eastern Ligurian Riviera about 20 km from Genoa easily accessible via the ancient Roman road Via Aurelia or by rail. Recco's economy is now based primarily on tourism, thanks to its strategic position near Genoa and other eastern townships.
